Colter & Peterson decided to do a full refresh of their website while expanding all of their categories. The result is a better, faster way to find machines or assistance.

Colter & Peterson's newly redesigned website is now live and the upgrade is impressive. Maintaining the www.papercutters.com domain, Colter & Peterson's user-friendly site is better organized, offers greater functionality, and can be accessed by mobile devices.
"We were overdue for a new design and it has not gone unnoticed. I've had a lot of people come up to me the last few days and say they really like it," said Bruce Peterson, in between meetings with visitors to the C&P booth at PRINT 18 in Chicago, which concluded earlier this week.
The President and CEO of North America's largest independent distributor of industrial paper cutters and paper handling equipment, Peterson acknowledged his family owned and operated company has achieved many milestones over the years. C&P was founded by his grandfather in 1932, and significant moments of the company are captured through the 85-year timeline.
"We decided to do a full refresh and expand all of our categories. Six months after we started, I'm happy with the results," he said. "When you look at the New Products section, you will find a full offering of all our machines including the SABER® and PRISM® brands, as well as specifications and photos.
We also expanded the listings for all our Cuttermart Certified Used and Reconditioned Machines, devoted a portion of the site to Parts & Service, and developed a Company section that includes News updates and our history."
After a soft introduction and test period, Peterson said the site went live on October 1.
"One of the biggest improvements was making the website easier to navigate. It is more intuitive and you can access it with mobile technology including your Smartphone. You can also call up a machine in our inventory much faster than before. Our sales reps are still available to help anyone find the right machine for them, but with the specs and full photos of every machine that's available, it is now much easier to have that conversation. You have all the information available to you with the touch of a button."
Colter & Peterson is North America's largest independent distributor of heavy duty paper cutters and paper handling equipment. Founded in 1932, C&P employs approximately 50 people working coast-to-coast from five locations in New Jersey, Iowa and California. C&P is the manufacturer of the Microcut line of retrofit back gauge controllers and the worldwide distributor of PRISM paper cutters and SABER paper cutters, as well as C&P and Schneider Engineering Peripheral equipment. The company also is the North American distributor of the CHM precision knife sheeter, and for Horauf and Colter & Peterson Accutrim three knife trimmers. In addition, C&P purchased and provides service and support for the Harris-Seybold and Dexter-Lawson line of paper cutters.
